A Brief History
Silver and Gold runs through our veins. Jewelry is more than an accessory. It is a part of our DNA.
Gold & Honey began as a company run by women (and sisters!) in NYC, each with her own unique sense of fashion. That has helped us to strengthen our foundation as a company devoted to delivering diverse, high quality jewelry. Our styles range from classic to trendy and from modern to nostalgic. This wide range of differing styles helps us to meet the fashion needs of every woman.
Our journey of creating innovative designs has intensified with our new handcrafted Lucite collection. These show stopping pieces are rich with vivid colors and fine jewelry details that demand attention.
We each spent time in jewelry factories and worked for luxury brands in New York, Israel and Thailand learning the ins and outs of what goes into creating a piece of jewelry. We were witness to each step from conception to production. Today, we have taken what we learned and work with highly skilled artisans and utilize the most cutting edge technology in order to bring our designs from imagination to reality.
Our wide range of differing styles and affordable price points helps to meet the fashion needs of every woman, while giving back to the community in any way possible.
So, who are we individually?
Rachel
Rachel is the designer and trend spotter. When it comes to finding the next best thing she can find it from a mile away and will do her darndest to figure out how to incorporate it into her designs. Having worked for luxury designer David Yurman, she knows the ins and outs of creating quality accessories. Her love for cosmopolitan fashion intensified at the London College of Fashion, where she earned her BA (Honors) degree in Fashion Management.
Rachel inspires us to merge the trendy with the minimalistic with the bold and with the timeless to create fluid collections perfect for every style.
Fun Fact: "I have a knack for accents. I like to learn a few phrases in different languages whenever I'm able to travel."
Elizabeth
Elizabeth is our go getter. She loves to meet with potential customers to get their input for innovative ways to enhance their buying experience. For over 5 years, she worked for luxury designer David Yurman in product development and engineering. Her jet setting experience has paved the way for traveling to customers near and far.
Elizabeth is our inspiration for wild yet minimalist jewelry that can be worn and not get in the way of daily activities.
Fun Fact: "I collect tiny vinyl toys - the uglier the better!"
Melissa
Melissa is our inspiration for conversation starting, bold statement jewelry. No piece is too big, or too colorful for this lady.
Fun Fact: "I have Ridgeback/Great Dane rescue dog that is taller than Tom Cruise!"
Laura
When we design jewelry, Laura is our inspiration for classic, timeless pieces.
Fun Fact: "I am learning a new language. And as of right now have the Serbian vocabulary of a 4 year old."
LAMOM
Lamom (Tuy) is our MVP Buyer. She makes sense of the hustle and bustle of the industry and is always on trend.
Fun Fact: During the lockdown, I made over 15 crochet blankets and quilts. Then, I moved on to gardening. Now my entire backyard is garden-to-table for family dinners every night!
